AFFIDAVIT OF S. MURALIDHARAN
I, S. Muralidharan, S/o. Mr. P. Sivalingam, aged 51 years, residing at 2A, 3rd Main Road, Kottur
Gardens, Chennai 600085, do hereby solemnly affirm and sincerely state as follows:
1. I am the Petitioner herein, and I am, as such, well acquainted with the facts of the case
and competent to swear this affidavit.
2. I state that I am filing the present public interest litigation out of my own funds. I state
that my annual income is Rs. 3,60,000/-. I state that I am the founder of Indian Center for
Animal Rights and Education (INCARE) and an Elephant activist who has filed 11 writ
petitions before this Hon’ble Court till date with favourable orders, and, of which, two
writ petitions are pending. Amongst the writ petitions filed by me, one deals with eviction
of illegal brick kilns in Thadagam Valley and to recover all elephant corridors
encroached in the Coimbatore region. I further state that I have not filed any writ petition
with a similar prayer or relief before any other Hon’ble High Court or the Hon’ble
