AFFIDAVIT FILED BY THE PETITIONER
I, M. K. Stalin son of Late. M. Karunanidhi, Indian, aged about 67
years, having office at ‘Anna Arivalayam’, 367 & 369, Anna Salai,
Teynampet, Chennai – 600086, do hereby sincerely state on oath as
follows:

convenience in my favour. On the other hand, no prejudice would be
caused to the Respondents.
17. In these circumstances it is humbly prayed that this Hon’ble
Court may be pleased to grant interim stay of the impugned notice dated
07.09.2020 issued by the 2nd Respondent and its all further proceedings
pending disposal of the above Writ Petition and thus render justice.
18. In these circumstances it is prayed that this Hon’ble Court may
issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the impugned
reference dated 19.07.2017 in Serial No. 9 of the Tamil Nadu Assembly
Bulletin No.37 dated 19.07.2017 made by the 1st Respondent to the 3rd
Respondent against the Petitioner regarding Gutkha issue and
consequential notice dated 07.09.2020 issued by the 2nd Respondent by
referring to the decision said to have been made by the 3rd Respondent in
the meeting held on 07.09.2020, presided over by the 4th Respondent and
quash the same. It is further prayed that this Hon’ble Court may pass such
further or other orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in
facts and circumstances of the case and thus render justice.
