DISPOSAL PARTICULARS OF HIGH COURT, MADRAS &
SUBORDINATE COURT DURING LOCKDOWN PERIOD
During the period of lockdown, in the Principal Seat at Madras, from
26.3.2020 to 07.05.2020, 732 cases were instituted, out of which 341 cases have
been disposed of, and in Madurai Bench 215 cases were instituted, of which 105
cases were disposed of.
In the Subordinate Courts during the same period, 12109() cases have been instituted, of which 10206() cases have been disposed of.
From 18.4.2020, all the cases are being dealt with only through Video-
conferencing.
