I, Dhanasekaran, Son of Ramadoss, Hindu, aged about 63
years, residing at No. 2/59, 69th Street, Ashok Nagar, R.V. Nagar,
Chennai-600 083, do hereby solemnly affirm and sincerely state as
follows:

liquor shops are closed no illicit liquor has sprang up. For that reason
only Police has a separate wing Prohibition and Enforcement Wing, to
enforce prohibition as its bounden duty.
It is further prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to
pass an interim stay on the 3rd Respondent to not to open the Retail
Vending of Liquor Shops run by TASMAC and to be kept closed even
after the lockdown period till disposal of this writ petition and thus
render justice.
I therefore pray that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to

the nature of writ, to direct the 2
nd respondent to notify and announce
total prohibition of Alcohol, Manufacture, Sale and Consumption in the
State and may pass such and other orders as this Hon’ble Court may
deem fit and proper and thus render justice.
