    [5/8, 16:54] Sekarreporter: MOTHER
    The echoes of the day withered past,
    And the sounds of the earth fell in rust;
    The birds of the dusk were off to slumber
    And the cook, the guard, the neighbor, the plumber.
    But still there melts a voice, so gentle and pure,
    As soft and radiant, as the heal of manicure,
    And it gave a touch of love, ready to ply
    Aye, it was my mom’s lullaby!

    Hers were the hands that felt me in the womb,
    And the same are those, that would frighten my tomb;
    Hers was the blood that caressed me first
    Which she turned into milk, to quench my thirst!
    Hers were the eyes that taught me beauty,
    And its spark she lost, to make my life lofty;
    Hers were the lips that hid me in obsession,
    But the luster is gone, with her flood of affection!

    Surrounded by love, stands petrified my whole,
    Well, is there an angel, lovelier than her soul?
    Drenched in her warmth, are my tiny, brittle arms,
    Entwined in her hair, oh how they’ve lost their charms!
    Could words stand parallel, to the rhythm of all her strain?
    Or can Pandemonium be compared, to the length of all her pain?
    For, from being a nervous toddler, as a nuisance untold
    She made a man out of me, tall and brisk and bold!

    I looked around, till the deep hollows of the earth,
    And even had to cross, just to find a sea of mirth;
    Failed did I, like a fish caught and twirled
    And then understood the endless limits of the world!
    No man, no woman, no Paradise nor Heaven
    With all their fullness and the bliss of brethren,
    And the mighty God, with a Universe to bother,
    Could a bit be near, the love of a mother!
