[8/1, 20:48] Sekarreporter 1: Singhvi: I support the Proportionate Representation system.
Also, enough safeguards to ensure a parliamentary standing committee. I also don’t understand why we can’t have a virtual meeting for it when UK has already had it.
[8/1, 20:49] Sekarreporter 1: JR Advocate law office gives Vote of Thanks to @DrAMSinghvi.

Thanks for giving us a very clear picture of what is Parliamentary Democracy.
[8/1, 20:49] Sekarreporter 1: Now a Senior Advocate appreciates Mr. Singhvi’s lecture.

Mr. TKS Elangovan now interacts with Mr. Singhvi.

Says that the amendment of the Constitution must come from the Assembly as it effects the state.
[8/1, 20:50] Sekarreporter 1: Mr. Tiruchi Siva now interacting with Mr. Singhvi. @tiruchisiva

Singhvi: Very happy to know my friends are here. You know I like to think of you as the “Young Turk” of our house!
[8/1, 20:50] Sekarreporter 1: Siva to Singhvi: Would you accept my suggestion that Proportionate representation will ensure checks and balances? Also I would like to know how to strengthen the private members bill introduction system? @tiruchisiva
[8/1, 20:55] Sekarreporter 1: Singhvi: In a federal country like India, a presidential system would be inappropriate.
Root branch and tree reform is what I suggest, well within the existing system of parliamentary democracy.
Ultimately, it requires maturity and spirit – much more than letter of law.
[8/1, 20:57] Sekarreporter 1: Singhvi: What has happened in Rajasthan? My question is — Can the Governor wait for a month for the Assembly to be called?

What to do when the Governor does not act in an unbiased manner?

Go to court?
