The Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Puducherry has requested the Government of Tamil Nadu to generously help the young Advocates in their pursuit to establish as an advocate and serve the society without fear and favour. On considering the unresolved issue for long time, the Hon’ble Chief Minister has sanctioned a monthly stipend of Rs.3,000/- for a period of two years to the young Advocates who are practicing in Tamilnadu.
The timely help to the young Advocates will go to long way in ensuring that the standards of Advocates stays high and as a directive result, Tamilnadu will be able to produce great Advocates and eminent jurists in future. Minimum 2000 young advocates will be benefited every year in this Scheme.
On behalf of the entire legal fraternity, The Bar Council of Tamilnadu and Puducherry wholeheartedly thank the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble Law Minister of Tamilnadu for sanctioning the stipend to young Advocates and it will be remembered always by the legal fraternity at large.
