In the year 2019 Indian parliament amended Citizenship Act 1955 ( in earlier year also the said Act was amended in 1992,2003,2005,2015) these are all culminated in 2019 amendment ( according to the Art 368 the parliament have power to amend any provision of CONSTITUTION, discuss later) . the recent amendment pertaining to CAA and NRC. it has 6 religious persons ( Hindus, Jains, Buddhist, Sikhs, Parsi, Christians) with 3 countries (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh). If these people facing or fear to face religious persecution in their country and migrated to India on or before 31st December 2014, shall be a citizen of India except MUSLIMS . Why not other countries like Srilanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Tibet, Indonesia, Bhutan etc are not taken into account. This Amendment pertaining to CITIZENSHIP BY REGISTRATION AND NATURALISATION of Indian Citizenship Act 1955. …………….
